SINAMICS G110M Internal braking resistor for FSB Peak power 200 W Continuous power 20 W Resistance 175 ohm Degree of protection IP20 34x 11x 84 (HxWxD) Ambient temperature -10 °C to +55 °C Braking resistor SINAMICS braking resistor for the SINAMICS G110M distributed converter. Excess energy in the DC link is dissipated in the braking resistors in regenerative operation. The braking resistors are intended for use with SINAMICS G110M, which have an integrated braking chopper and cannot feed regenerated energy back into the supply system. For generative operation, e.g. braking a mass with a large moment of inertia, a braking resistor must be connected that converts the energy to heat. The braking resistors can be mounted on the side of the Control Unit enclosure at the bottom, allowing heat dissipation of the braking resistor to be conveyed through the Control Unit enclosure. Each braking resistor is implemented with overtemperature protection, which prevents thermal overloading. The braking resistor is available for a three-phase voltage range between 380 V and 480 V, in a performance range from 0.37 kW to 4 kW, and in frame sizes FSA and FSB. All braking resistors are provided as standard with a cable for connecting to the internal terminals. SINAMICS – the integrated drive family for every field of application.
